If you're an artist or Tattooer you know about the endless search for good drawing references. The secret to creating a one-of-a-kind piece is to not use the internet. Fuck google image search. Everyone has access to it and therefore uses it extensively.
Instead you may seek reference in book stores. Remember those? Most commercial bookshops are few and far between. That's where used bookshops/thrift stores come in handy. God bless Yvette Comeau for opening Maya Books and Music in Sanford, Florida. By far the best bookstore I've ever been to, and not just for reference. There's a plethora of reasonably priced vintage storybooks, novels, fiction and non fiction from all over. If you're in the area definitely swing by and grab some books. This average sized nook houses more than three bookstores worth of treasures so you're bound to find something for you.
I'm pretty sure none of these pictures are on google. Thumbs up.
